This policy explains what information The Backroom ("we", "us") collects when you use thebackroom.club (the "Site"), why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this Site only, not to Discord, Whop, Instagram, or any other third-party platform we link to or use.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• Information you give us directly. When you submit the Apply for Access form, we collect your full name, email address, Discord username, and your answers to the application questions (trading history, markets traded, financial commitment, and similar details you choose to share).
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the third-party services below may log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.

How we use it

• To review and respond to applications for The Backroom
• To confirm your Lifetime/Vault membership status when you apply
• To keep the Site running securely and to diagnose technical issues

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run the Site. Each only receives the data needed to do its job:

• Web3Forms – processes and delivers application form submissions to us by email. See their privacy policy.
• Google Fonts – loads the typefaces used on this Site. Your browser connects directly to Google's servers to fetch them, which exposes your IP address to Google. See Google's privacy policy.
• Whop – handles membership checkout and payment for The Floor, The Lounge, and the Challenge. Whop, not us, processes your payment details. See their privacy policy.
• Discord – our community lives on Discord. Anything you post there is governed by Discord's own privacy policy, not this one.

Cookies

This Site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Some of the third-party services listed above may set cookies or similar technology as part of their normal operation; we don't control those directly.

How long we keep it

Application submissions are kept only as long as needed to review your application and, if accepted, to confirm your membership. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, reach out to us on Discord or at the contact below and we'll handle it directly.

Children

The Backroom is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
